Edward Thompson

Edward Thompson joined ICAX Ltd in 2000 to help to promote Interseasonal Heat Transfer, an integration of renewable energy technologies that allows ICAX to provide economic renewable energy.

Interseasonal Heat Transfer captures surplus heat from summer sunshine, stores it in ThermalBanks in the ground and releases it to heat buildings in winter.
Interseasonal Heat Transfer also captures cold on winter nights, stores this in ThermalBanks in the ground and releases it to cool buildings in summer.
IHT has been installed in schools, colleges, community centres, swimming pool complexes and a new Tesco supermarket.

ICAX is also engaged in providing renewable energy research for the European Union.
