HRS operates at the forefront of heat transfer technology, committed to providing AD plant operators with a diverse range of innovative PAS 110 digestate pasteurisation and concentration systems; which maximise energy consumption, waste and CO2; whilst lowering fuel bills, and improving final product quality without harming the environment. Our Digestate Pasteurisation System (DPS) uses a 3-tank system with each tank individually: filling, pasteurising and emptying each hour. The constant feed and drain allows for the use of thermal regeneration, heating the cold raw product with the hot pasteurised product. Our Digestate Concentration System (DCS) uses a multi-effect concentration process using forced recirculation to process digestate. The DCS works by superheating the digestate in a vacuum to facilitate concentration, coupled with our corrugated tube technology which reduces fouling and maintenance periods. By using a multi-effect concentrator, evaporated low temperature steam can be reused, making the process highly energy efficient.
